straightlineは、2007年からこの名前で活動しているフリーランスのWebデザイナーです。1998年より、Webを介した人と人とのつながりに関心を持ち、自らコミュニケーションサービスを企画・開発・運営してきました。
インターネット上の「居場所」は、時に現実のどこよりも人にとって大切なものになり得ます。居場所がないと感じる人にも、ここなら安心できると思ってもらえるようなWebコミュニティをつくることが、自分にとってのライフワークです。
私自身、何度もインターネットに救われてきました。規模や利益を求める企業には難しいことでも、個人だからこそできる表現や仕組みがあると信じています。誰かの孤独や不安にそっと寄り添える、小さくても確かな場所を、これからもつくり続けていきたいと考えています。

A “place” on the Internet can sometimes be more important to people than anywhere else in reality. My life's work is to create a Web community where people who feel they have no place to belong can feel at ease here.
I myself have been saved by the Internet many times. I believe that there are expressions and mechanisms that can be done only by individuals, even if they are difficult for companies seeking scale and profit. I would like to continue to create a small but solid place where I can gently help someone who is lonely or anxious.

本サービスは、簡易的なメッセージの投稿および共有を行うための機能です。
以下に該当する内容の投稿を禁止します。違反が確認された場合、投稿の削除やアクセス制限などの措置を行うことがあります。
運営者は、違反投稿の削除、アカウントや接続情報の制限などの対応を、事前の通知なく行うことがあります。
本サービスの利用によって発生した損害について、運営者は一切の責任を負いません。
本サービスの内容は、予告なく変更・停止されることがあります。

"post a message" (the "Service") is a message posting feature provided by straightline. By using this Service, you agree to the following terms.
The Service is intended to allow users to post and share simple messages.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in deletion of the content or restriction of access without notice.
The administrator reserves the right to delete content or restrict user access without prior notice if any violations are detected.
The administrator assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred through the use of this Service.
The Service may be changed or terminated at any time without prior notice.
